Madison Monk
Madison is a community analyst based in Red Lake, Ontario. She graduated from Western University with a bachelors in Sociology and Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies, as well as a masters in Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies. Her background is based in non-profit work on the community level, with experience working and volunteering in shelters and outreach centres for women and gender non-conforming folks. With particular interest in the areas of mental health and housing, her focus is on the ways that identities intersect to shape experience. She is passionate about taking issues that exist on the societal level, identifying how they impact people on the individual level, and exploring solutions through community-based approaches.
